Sales Tax Referendum Community Forum and Early Voting

Post Date:01/08/2018

The first of three sales tax referendum community forums sponsored by the Tennessean  will kick off in Brentwood on Tuesday, January 9, at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library, at 6 p.m.    Up for discussion is the Williamson County Commission resolution to authorize an increase in the sales and use tax in Williamson County.

The forums are designed to give residents the chance to understand the proposed sales tax increase to pay debt from school construction.   Williamson County reporters and The Tennessean’s opinion and engagement editor, David Plazas, will moderate the forums.

Seated is limited and registration for the FREE forums is encouraged.
