Brentwood Celebrates History of City’s First Emergency Responders at Community Event

The Brentwood Historic Commission and the City of Brentwood invite you to an event at City Park on Saturday September 15.   The event will feature a panel of people from Brentwood Fire and Rescue and the Brentwood Police Department.    Hear about how the fire department’s response has changed throughout the city’s growth, the time country star George Jones, known as the possum, was arrested in Brentwood, and the current picture of law enforcement in the city.

The event will kick off with live music from Tyler Braden, a Brentwood Firefighter and also singer-songwriter.   Anyone is welcome to attend the free event.  There will be free giveaways. Please bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on the grass area in front of the Mooreland Mansion.  In the event of rain, the event will be canceled.
