Environmental Stewardship Award Nominations Now Accepted

The City of Brentwood’s Environmental Advisory Board is now accepting nominations for the 2019 Environmental Stewardship Awards Program.   Now in its fourth year, the program recognizes those in the community who are working to protect and conserve Brentwood’s natural resources.  Organizations or individuals selected for the awards will be publicly recognized at Brentwood’s Arbor Day Celebration on April 6, 2019 at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library.   You can learn more about Arbor Day online.

An individual, a business, school or any organization you feel enhances the environment, protects or conserves natural resources, or promotes volunteerism for environmental causes can be nominated.  Nominations will be accepted through February 22 at 2:00 p.m.

Award categories include Large Organization (100+ employees or members), Small Organization, Educational Institution, Student, Community Volunteer, Small Residential Project, and Green Buildings.
