The Brentwood Library HPA Chapter
The Chamber of Knowledge
The Harry Potter Alliance encourages millions of fans to improve our global community through social activism. We believe people have the power to make small changes that will ripple into large change. The Brentwood Library has formed a chapter of the HPA called The Chamber of Knowledge for muggles and wizards ages 6-106. Our current campaign focuses on environmental best practices, and we plan to have some fun along the way.
Please join us! Together, we can do good things!

Quarterly Meeting Minutes:
Quarterly All-Member Meeting
Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm
You're invited to join us for our next all-member quarterly meeting. We will have a guest speaker educating us on composting, another way to recycle and throw away less trash. We will also be electing new officers for the upcoming year. Nominations will be accepted from the floor. The club is also thinking about refocusing a new cause to help our community, so please bring your ideas!
Quarterly Challenge - Plastic Bottle Clean-Up
Pick up 10-20 plastic bottles out in the community and bring in at least 10 to pass your OWL exams! Members who bring in 20 plastic bottles will pass the NEWT exams! Members bringing in more than 21 plastic bottles will become Headmasters. All participants receive a Harry Potter bookmark.
Join us in encouraging local restaurants to use recyclable materials. We have written a letter to distribute, and you can sign up to deliver it to one of these establishments. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up!
The Brentwood Seed Library
Spread the word and help us start a seed library by donating seeds to share with other members of the community. Click here for detailed information on how to save and share seeds and join our Seed Library FaceBook page while you're at it. You can also enjoy our Seed Library commercial, created by our friends at Youth Leadership Brentwood.
Other ways you can help: We still need a Seed Library FaceBook administrator. Consider sharing our page with your Facebook friends or groups like your garden club or HOA. Contact email@example.com to volunteer.
