Do I have to have a reservation to use the shelter or pavilion?
A. No you do not. If there is not a "Reserved" sign outside of the shelter or pavilion, then it is considered "First come, First serve". You may also feel free to contact the Reservation Coordinator Jamielee Booker at (615) 371-0080 to verify availability.
Is there a fee to rent the shelter/pavilion?
A. All park shelters or the pavilion require a refundable deposit of $50.00. If you are a non-resident, the appropriate fees are listed in the fee schedule that you can access by clicking fee link on the Make a Reservation page.
Can I have a caterer?
A. Absolutely. Just call the office prior to your event and let us know who will be onsite or dropping off.
When is the reservation season?
Our reservation season begins February 1st of the current year and runs through the end of October. November through January is considered "first come, first serve".
Who is considered a Brentwood resident?
A. A Brentwood resident pays city taxes to the City of Brentwood. This includes homeowners, property owners, schools, churches and businesses. Also keep in mind that even though you may have a Brentwood mailing address, that does not mean that you pay your taxes to the City of Brentwood. If you are still unsure, please call (615) 371-0080 and speak with Jamielee Booker, she will happy to look up your address and let you know.
When is my deposit/fee payment due?
A. Your deposit and any applicable fees are due within (3) business days of your approval.
What form of payment is accepted?
A. We accept check or money order, made out to the City of Brentwood.
How do I make my payment?
A. Once approved, payment should be mailed or dropped off to our office at 1750 Gen. George Patton Drive, Brentwood, TN 37027.
What happens to my deposit check after my event?
A. If you paid your deposit via check, the check will be shredded the following Monday after your event. If you paid your deposit via money order, a check will be cut and mailed to the address provided on your reservation.
Where is the shelter/pavilion located in the park?
A. Crockett Park- 1500 Volunteer Pkwy (Behind Woodland Elem.- go through the 4-way stop sign, down the hill and on the right, by the little bridge that access's the multi-purpose fields)
Granny White Park- 610 Granny White Pk. (Behind BMS & BHS- Beside playground)
Owl Creek Park- 9751 Concord Rd. (Approx. 1 mile past the Governors Club)
River Park- 1100 Knox Valley Dr. (Directly across from the Brentwood Library off of Concord Rd.)
Can I bring an additional grill to the park?
A. You must have a reservation if you would like to bring an additional grill into the park. The grill can NOT be a charcoal grill. With permission, you may bring a grill. It must be propane only and have a portable fire extinguisher with it as well.
I want to have an inflatable for my event, what do I need to do?
A. You must first request permission through the parks shelter reservation coordinator. Once approved, whomever you choose as your provider must list the City of Brentwood as an additional insured. Proof of insurance must be provided prior to the event.
How many inflatables can I have?
A. Granny White, Crockett Park and Owl Creek Park can each support a maximum of two (2) inflatables. River Park can only have one (1) inflatable. If you have more than one inflatable, we request that you also rent a generator to support the power supply required. Water components are NOT allowed with the inflatable.
My child's school would like to have an event at one of the parks. Can I reserve it on behalf of his/her class?
A. If the event is during school hours, on a school day... No, you may not. The school must make the request and pay the deposit and any applicable fee. If the event is after hours or on a weekend... Yes, you may the request and pay the deposit and any applicable fee.
Do you allow alcohol?
A. We do not. If you are caught with any type of alcohol in the parks, pavilion or parking lot, you will be asked to leave the property and you may lose your deposit.
Can I decorate the shelter/pavilion for my event?
A. Yes, we ask that you only use tape to hang up decorations. No tacks or staples please. When you are done with your event, please remove your decorations and any tape residue.
Can I have a DJ, music or PA system?
A. Sure... Just call the office and let us know. All sound must be contained within the shelter/pavilion.
