HOW TO RESERVE
PLEASE PLEASE READ THE STEPS BELOW... A LOT OF YOUR QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED BY READING BELOW.
- Submit your request through Spaces
- READ your email - After you submit your request, it is now in a PENDING status, this is not an automatic approval
- DO NOT send money until you receive your APPROVAL
- The APPROVAL process includes a review of your request to be sure all fields are filled our correctly as well as the removal of the non-resident fee if it applies
- Check your email for you APPROVAL
- This email will contain the following:
- Due date - This is very important as your request WILL be cancelled without notice if not paid by the due date
- Amount due - This will be your refundable deposit and non-resident fee if applicable
- Who to make your check(s) out to
- Where to mail or drop off check(s)
- Once payment is received, then and ONLY then will you have an actual reservation
NOTE- Everyone gets charged the base fee along with the deposit. If you are not supposed to be charged a fee with the deposit, it WILL be removed during the approval process.

- CROCKETT PARK . 1500 Volunteer Pkwy . Reserve from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- DEERWOOD ARBORETUM . 320 Deerwood Ln . Reserve from Sunrise to Sunset
(NOT for private parties- ONLY girl/boy scouts or schools may reserve)

Park Amenities (not all parks have all amenities)
- Maximum occupancy (not provided seating) under shelter/pavilion is per Fire Codes
- 100 people @ Crockett, Owl, River and Smith Parks
- 200 people @ Granny White Park
- 8 metal picnic tables under each shelter
- 1 charcoal grill
- 1 natural gas grill (Granny White Park only)
- Access to lights, electricity or water spigot available upon request
- Playground beside shelters
- Bathroom just yards away
- Dogs allowed on leash
- Walking / biking trails
- Basketball court
- Tennis courts
- Multi-purpose fields
With special permission, you may bring/have the following to/in the park: (with a confirmed reservation only)
- Propane grill with a portable fire extinguisher
- Amplified music
- not allowed at Smith Park
- Decorations
- D.J, P.A. system
- not allowed at Smith Park
- Inflatable- with a certificate of liability (COL) on file with the office
- not allowed at Smith Park
- Request to have a fire engine come by (Contact the Fire Department for details)
- Have a caterer do all of the cooking for you! Just tell us who you will be using.
COST
** Note: You will be charged the base fee regardless of your residency status, the fee WILL be removed during the approval process if appropriate. **
- $50 refundable deposit
ALL parks require a refundable security deposit regardless if you are Brentwood resident, business or church. - Non- resident fee for Crockett, Owl, River and Smith Park
- 0-4 hours = $50
- Over 4 hours, not to exceed 8 hours = $100
- Non-resident fee for Granny White Park
- 0-4 hours = $75
- Over 4 hours, not to exceed 8 hours = $150
A few more details you should know...
- You are responsible for knowing the Rules and Disclaimers for the parks department when you place your reservation request. (see links below for rules and disclaimers documents)
- ALL of our parks require a deposit, regardless if you are a resident or non-resident
- Be sure to factor in your set up and break down times in your reservation
- Requests must be made through our online reservation system called Spaces. You will need to use your login or create a free account in order to make a reservation.
- A Brentwood resident may NOT pay the deposit with a personal check for a school, church, business or organization
- When you attempt to make a request online and it does not let you submit the request, that means that the day and/or time is NOT available to reserve. Try another day, time or even park.
- The Deerwood Arboretum may not be reserved for private events or picnic lunches. It is for educational purposes only.
- We do not reserve The Eddy Arnold Amphitheater. It is strictly for approved events through the Park Board or the Community Relations Department.
- We accept check or money order. We do NOT accept cash.
