Professional Biography

Mark W. Gorman was first elected to the City Commission in 2013 and is serving his first term as Vice Mayor. Mark served on the Planning Commission from 2005 to 2014. He received his BS degree in Finance from Eastern Illinois University in 1990. He is a healthcare executive with management experience working with HCA-InterMedHx, Cannon County Hospitals, LLC. , G H A, Inc., NCO Financial Services, Inc. and MedSource, Inc. Mark is currently a healthcare operations executive with a fortune 500 company.


Mark moved to Brentwood in 2001. He and his wife, Marci, have three children that attended Williamson County Schools. He was actively involved in many Brentwood sports organizations including Excel swimming, Brentwood Blaze football and Civitan youth baseball. Mark has served as a Cub Scout Leader, a member of the schools’ PTO organizations, currently serves as President of his neighborhood Home Owners’ Association and attends Holy Family Catholic Church.
