Ad-Hoc 50th Anniversary Steering Committee

The Ad-Hoc 50th Anniversary Steering Committee meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 4:00 p.m. in the Fall Room at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library, 8109 Concord Road.  The public is invited to attend.

The Ad-Hoc 50th Anniversary Steering Committee consists of thirteen members. One member shall be a member of the Board of Commissioners selected by the Board of Commissioners. Six members must be residents of the city and are appointed by the Board of Commissioners and six members appointed as representatives by the Park Board, Historic Commission, Tree Board, Planning Commission, Library Board and Environmental Advisory Board.

Throughout 2019, the City of Brentwood will celebrate the 50th anniversary of becoming incorporated as a City in various ways which may include a community parade, a fundraising gala, history events, and concerts.  The City will also incorporate a new style and brand guide, and develop an informal community logo.  The Ad-Hoc 50th Anniversary Steering Committee was created to plan and lead the event planning for the various celebrations.
