As rapidly as Williamson County has grown, it is extremely important that we have the workforce in place to get an accurate census count since our population will determine the amount of Federal Dollars that are returned to us locally. These are the Federal Dollars we need for roads, schools, public works, etc. and it is estimated that for every person we don't get counted we loose over a $1,000 a year locally for the next 10 years so the stakes are high. The census will also determine how many US. Representatives we can send to Washington and our state legislative boundaries.
