Mike leads and directs the Engineering Department. He is responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of each staff member, developing and managing the departmental budget, and oversight of the design and construction activities related to new development.
Responsibility for managing the city’s storm water and erosion control program also falls under the purview of the Engineering Department.
Steve’s primary role is residential subdivision design and construction. He reviews preliminary plans, construction drawings and drainage designs for new residential developments to ensure the developments meet the City of Brentwood’s standards.
He coordinates with the Engineering Technician and Engineer that work in the field performing inspections of the on-going work to ensure the developments are built in accordance with the approved plans.
Darek’s primary role is residential and commercial site plan review. He reviews site plans designs for new residential construction including transitional (steep) lots, pools, fencing requests as well as commercial site plans to ensure they meet the City of Brentwood’s standards.
He is also responsible for the city's storm water (MS4) program which protects and enhances the city's waterways.
Richard ensures roadway construction is performed in accordance with the approved drawings and City of Brentwood requirements. This also includes utilities and drainage systems within the roadway.
He accomplishes this through visual inspections, density testing and by drilling cores into the completed roadway to confirm thicknesses.
Wayne also inspects erosion and silt control measures at development and construction sites for compliance with our storm water regulations.
