February Gallery Exhibit

February Gallery exhibitors are the 2Rivers Society of Painters. 2Rivers was formed almost seven years ago and consists of a dedicated group of professional artists united in a quest to create quality art. They are a diverse group, each having a different voice that, in the end, becomes harmonious in the language of art. From Jim Diehr’s numerous degrees in art, including a PhD, to Hilda Waide’s credit as a retired highschool art teacher in Davidson County, to Pat Patrick’s career as a chemical engineer (retired) turned painter, they all have a passion for art. Leah Foote retired from a career in education and returned to art, Eunice Kern, with her career as a paralegal, retired to follow her dream and travels the world to pleine aire paint and Patsy Sharpe returned to college for a fine arts degree at age 48 and is now a Signature Artist in the Tennessee Watercolor Society. Now, having the time to paint and pursue their dreams is their major goal. Their website can be found at

February Showcase Exhibit

In the Showcases for February will be Ben Caldwell, displaying custom hammered, raised and chased metalwork. Using copper and silver, Ben creates pieces that marry beauty and functionality, including cups, bowls, servers, salad sets, trays and spoons as well as wall mirrors and jewelry. Ben has received the Tennessee Artist’s Guild’s “Emerging Artist of the Year” award and had work commissioned as a wedding present for Amy Grant and Vince Gill
