The Crime Prevention/Community Services Division of the Brentwood Police Department is made up of Officers Samuel Bady and Mark Wood. Officers Bady and Wood have over 40 years of combined police experience and are certified as;

  • D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) instructors at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
  • Crime Prevention Specialist’s
  • Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED).
  •  R.A.D.(Rape Aggression Defense) Basic, Advanced, and Weapons Defense
  • Officer Bady is a certified radKids instructor
  • C.R.A.S.E.(Citizens Response to Active Shooter Events) Instructors
  • Officer Wood is a Firearms Instructor

Some of the services the Crime Prevention Division provides include:

  • Speak to various community groups about crime prevention and personal safety
  • Conduct tours of the police department for various groups including Cub Scouts and pre-schools
  • Act as liaisons between the police department and schools
  • Coordinate and teach R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) classes & radKIDS®
