Ken Travis was first elected to the City Commission in 2015 and is serving his second term.  He was nominated by the commission to serve as Vice Mayor in May 2019.  Ken earned his degree in Marketing from Memphis State University and is retired from GE Healthcare after 39 years of service.  He currently serves as the President of the Willowick Homeowners Association.


Ken was born in Memphis and relocated with his wife, Rhonda to Nashville in 1978 and then later to Brentwood in 2001.  Ken and Rhonda have two daughters and several grandchildren.   Ken has been an active member of St. Edward Catholic Church and School since 1978, where he coached basketball for 31 years.   Ken is an avid golfer and member of Brentwood Country Club.
