City Recorder

The City Recorder maintains all official City records, including ordinances, resolutions, minutes, contracts, easements, and deeds; publishes and posts legal notices; and provides administrative support as needed to the City Manager and the City Commission. To obtain city records, you can complete a Public Records Request online.

The City Recorder is also responsible for an expanded and targeted program for records management in the City in accordance with federal and state law and the records retention policy of the City. This effort includes development of records retention schedules; creation of systems to eliminate redundancy in records keeping and provide efficient electronic retrieval; and oversight/control of the warehouse storage area.
