The Original Maryland Farms
The Maryland Farms business park was once a famous showplace for Tennessee Walking Horses, American saddle horses, and over 50 brood mares. In 1937, J. Truman Ward, then owner of Nashville's WLAC Radio Station, bought 100 acres of "stump land" on Old Hickory Boulevard as a place to foster his love of horses. Travel back to those early days with this film Ward made in the 1940s.
