The City of Brentwood relies upon the volunteer spirit of numerous residents who serve on various Boards and Commissions.  Before applying to a Board, please click on the Board's link below to familiarize yourself with its role and responsibilities, and to see a list of current members.

If you are interested in applying to serve on a City Board, please fill out the online application or print the application and email to the City Recorder.

2019 Board Appointment Application Deadlines and Regular Meeting Schedules

 Tree Board  January 18, 2019 Meets 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:30 am*
 Historic Commission  January 18, 2019 Meets 3rd Friday of each month at 9:30 am*
 Board of Zoning Appeals  February 15, 2019 Meets 3rd Monday of each month at 5:30 pm
 Park Board  March 15, 2019 Meets 1st Monday of each month at 5:30 pm
 Planning Commission            N/A**** Meets 1st Monday of each month at 7:00 pm
 Library Board  May 17, 2019 Meets 2nd Wednesday of each month at 9:00 am**
 Board of Building Construction Appeal  July 12, 2019 Meets on an as needed basis - See City Calendar
 Environmental Advisory Board  July 12, 2019 Meets on 2nd Monday of Jan, April, July & Oct at 6:00 pm***
*Please note this Board does not meet in December.
**Please note this Board does not meet in July or December.
***May meet more frequently, as needed, but typically not more than once per month.
****Please note that applications for the Planning Commission are not accepted by the City.  Planning Commission appointments are made directly by the Mayor.
