📋 Project Description

The Murray Lane/Holly Tree Gap intersection was the last all-way stop intersection between two arterial or collector roads in Brentwood. This condition previously caused significant traffic delays during peak times, as it was a common pass-through point for regional commuters traveling to and from Maryland Farms and Brentwood residents commuting to and from Scales Elementary School. A traffic study completed in 2019 concluded a roundabout would provide the most efficient traffic flow.

Construction began in May 2025 and was completed in August 2025. The intersection now functions more efficiently, reducing traffic delays and improving safety.
