More than 20 Brentwood residents recently applied to become a city commissioner, and on July 14, the Board of Commissioners will appoint one of those individuals to fill a vacancy on the 7-member board.

That’s because the city’s online presence has a slightly new look and feel following a months-long web refresh project by Brentwood’s Information Technology Department and its Community Relations Department.

Brentwood City Commission Approves Budget for 2025-26 fiscal year

On Monday, June 23, the Brentwood Board of Commissioners approved the city’s $121 million budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year. The vote followed three public hearings held by the city in May and June, which allowed the community to comment on the budget.
