Brentwood Completes Storm Clean-Up, Returns to Normal Debris Pick-Up
Published on March 25, 2026
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The City of Brentwood and its contractor, Aftermath Disaster Recovery, have finished a second pass of brush removal throughout the City a week earlier than projected, allowing Brentwood to end its emergency clean-up efforts.
In the last month and a half, Brentwood has collected more than 323,000 cubic yards of Winter Storm Fern debris – more than double the City’s original estimate. That amount could fill the volume of the WSM tower 225 times.
A few tree and limb piles, added after the initial and second passes, remain along some streets, and Brentwood Public Works will collect that debris through its normal brush program, beginning on April 6. Because the City is no longer using Aftermath and its large trucks, residents need to follow the City’s traditional debris pick-up requirements. Trees and limbs need to be no longer than eight feet long and six inches in diameter. The City cannot accept contractor debris.
Residents can find more information, including a brush pickup schedule for their home address, on the Brentwood website, here: https://qrco.de/bghRCi.
The City appreciates everyone’s patience throughout this major clean-up effort, and the Public Works Department will continue to ensure Brentwood streets remain safe and beautiful through its brush program.
