Current Rezonings and Annexations
Ordinance 2026-04 -- An Ordinance Rezoning Approximately 1.37 acres of a Portion of a Property Located South of Old Hickory Boulevard and West of Wildwood Valley Drive from R-2 (Suburban Residential) Zoning District to SI-1 (Service Institution - Religious) Zoning District
The proposal is for the construction of a Miracle Field located at Harpeth Hills Church of Christ.
The subject property is divided by the Williamson County / Davidson County Line and the rezoning will only apply to the portion of land that is in Williamson County / City of Brentwood. Currently, there is a house and two ball fields that will be removed for the construction of Miracle Field. The total area of the parcel is approximately 2.43 acres, with approximately 1.37 being within the City of Brentwood. The parcel is owned by the Harpeth Hills Church of Christ and surrounded by other parcels owned by the church and Congregation Micah.
The accompanying concept plan shows proposed parking, concessions, restrooms, seating, dugouts, landscaping and a playground on the Davidson County side. The Williamson County / City of Brentwood side shows a portion of the baseball field, lighting, landscaping, and it will also have required stormwater quality and detention. The primary entrance and access to the field is proposed to be from Old Hickory Boulevard. Field lighting is proposed, but most games are held during the daytime with some games possibly extending into the evening. The applicant does not anticipate needing the lights past 8:00 pm on those infrequent occasions. Please note that if this rezoning is approved, a more detailed site plan will need to be presented to the Planning Commission for review and approval.
