Brentwood Adds Two New Grapple Trucks for Debris Removal

Brentwood now has eight grapple trucks that can carry about 30 cubic yards, and they are working alongside the city’s contractor, Aftermath. That company’s 12 trucks hold 80 cubic yards, and they haul trailers that can also hold 80 cubic yards

Granny White Parks Closed for Next Few Weeks

  • Indian Burial Mound From 900 A.D. to about 1450 A.D. , a group of prehistoric Native Americans lived in the Brentwood area. It is assumed that two waves of migration occurred during that time with both living at some point on what is now known as Primm Historic Park. From 900-1050, those living there are known as the Mound Builders.

  • Water Services The Water Services Department includes staff who manage Brentwood’s Water and Sewer Systems. The City of Brentwood does not operate water or sewer treatment plants. Instead the City coordinates with several utilities such as the Harpeth Valley Utility District and Metro Water Services for our drinking water.

  • Traffic Calming The City of Brentwood has an established policy for the design and installation of speed humps on qualifying residential streets to help control speeding and discourage cut-through traffic. The HOA (Home Owners Association) for the subdivision in question, shall submit a formal written request for review of a specific location to begin the speed hump evaluation process.
